A: Foggy light orange bottom, creamy head.
S: Sweet citrus. Orange sherbet, grapefruit, mango, with floral hints.
T: Huge fruit juice taste and very sweet. Lots of mango, sherbet ice cream, a bit of grapefruit bitterness. Extremely bright. Floral notes. Some caramel malt too.
F: Super creamy and soft. Leaves a syrupy mouth coating and nice warmth in the chest.
O: Interesting. Very bright and juicy. I’d almost describe it as a desert ipa. I wish it was a tad more bitter? Great beer though, very full.

Another superb brew from the talented folks at Ft. George. Very pretty for a NEIPA, more golden than brown with a nice glow. Nose is not overwhelmingly wonderful, but solid with promises of hoppy delights soon to come. And the taste really is just about overwhelmingly wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever rated an IPA above 4.5 for taste, so this is right up there with the very best. The hop/malt balance is world class and the delicious juiciness of NEIPAs is brought to a pinnacle with sacrificing any of the deeper, more resinous hop tones. Feel is also world class, near perfect carbonation and viscosity. Truly yummy.

Really excellent and delicious, had it a day after Fields of Green which just blew me away. I thought this was on par, just slightly less perfect tha Fields.

Very cloudy gold with two fingers of white foamy head. Rings of lace as level drops.
Pungent resin floral orange grapefruit bread crust malt.
Taste is orange fruity pine resin green dank with bread crust malt backing.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish is dry and bitter/sweet.
Overall a tasty and fairly balanced IPA. Pure pleasure.

Can from Market of Choice. If John gives an IPA a 4.4+, I've got to try it, even if it's a hazy IPA.

A hazy, ugly pulpy orange with a dense white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing, this looks OK. The nose, however, is quite excellent. Juicy, pulpy, fresh squeezed OJ with accents of clementine and Minneola oranges, this is very juicy, very fresh and very refreshing. Along with this is a light mango and peach juice note. Alcohol is well hidden, and malt character is minimal. There is a slight grassy note that's present but not distracting. The palate opens juicy with plenty of orange, along with a mild but noticeable oat like sweetness. Again, there's peach and mango to go with the burst of citrus, but it is really well integrated into the palate. Light yet incredibly fruity and mildly sweet, the oats do add a lot of character to this beer. Fruity on the finish, with the alcohol well-hidden, this beer is quite excellent. A mild bitterness is present which when combined with the acidic bite from the carbonation helps temper the sweeter notes.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, opaque yellow amber with a one finger white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, tropical and lightly citrus hops, yuzu, passion fruit, a little pineapple, orange and a bit of dankness. Flavor is pale malt, mixed tropical fruit, orange and orange rind. Finishes a little less robust with lingering dank tropical fruit and light to moderate hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I always pick up something new from Fort George and wasn't expecting a hazy IPA from them, my first. Like many of this style, the initial rush of hops is interesting and fun to parse out fruit notes, but the finish does not give me enough bitterness. This one was more to my palate than most, it did not mellow out into fruit juice as I drank the glass. Nice hop bill and finely brewed as I'd expect, but just not my style.

In can last night, and now on tap at Belmont Station.

The beer pours a hazy golden amber color, with good head retention and lots of sticky lacing all around. To be honest, this looks like a glass of fresh squeezed OJ. The nose is impressive, as I pick up considerable tropical fruit and orange juice. Good as this beer smells, it tastes even better. The flavor profile replicates the nose, but there's just more of everything in this impressive ne style dipa. The combination of sweet tropical fruit and oj is just outstanding. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile, and the light bitterness helps to counter the sweetness in this impressive dipa. The finish is long and mouthfeel is very full. This is a very impressive dipa from the folks at FG.

Tried side by side with a very nice ipa from Revision (the owynee), and there just was no comparison. Excellent, well crafted effort from the folks at Ft. George. This is very well done
