Smooth Operator is a Milk Stout, but with an emphasis on attaining the same mouthfeel as a nitro stout (without all the nitro). Thick with a good head of foam. Goes down smooth & easy.

On tap at Fort George Brewing

A: Pours nearly black with a frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.

S: Roasty, coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate, a little char, a touch of dark fruit, earthy, and some toffee sweetness.

T: Roasty malt, dark bittersweet chocolate, coffee, a touch of char and smoke, earthy, just a hint of dark fruit, and toffee sweetness.

M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, creamy smooth.

O: I'm kinda blown away by this one. Big fan of the style so I wanted to try it. It's pretty much everything I could ask in a milk stout.
