16oz can (dated 09/13/19) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully murky muddy orange color with almost 2 inches of of off-white head that had good retention and light-moderate lacing.
Frooty hops and no appreciable malt/grain in the nose.
Same on the tongue, but there was a bit of citrus tang to liven things up. Sadly, there was also a metallic bitterness on the finish that was rather unpleasant.
The body was fairly typical for the style, the light side of medium, with a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability wasn't that good, mostly due to that metallic component.
Overall, I'm not sure if the brewery still intends for this beer to be on shelves. Maybe their distributor up here (Dickerson) is just pushing stuff out the door due to the shutdown. Whatever the reason, I must give this beer an Avoid.
