Don't remember too much about this beer. With the rating I gave it, it was decent, but not great, just a good standard IPA.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.

Look- Deep gold, sudsy light cream head, very hazy, average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Mandarin orange, earthy.

Taste- Mandarin orange, extremely astringent and pithy, tart, very earthy.

Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, prickly, high bitterness, extraordinarily astringent.

Overall- Unpleasantly astringent and earthy.

Clear amber brew with modest foam but plenty prickly on the tongue. Fruity and tangy. Flavors of pine and apricot with a resiny aftertaste. Fairly bitter and distinctly sharp. Long, clear, fruity aftertaste.

This is a hugely flavored West Coast IPA that hits the high notes. A little hot but very fragrant. And yes, bitter to the end. From the 16 oz can purchased up north. Dated 03/25/2021 on the bottom.

16oz can (dated 3/3/2021) poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a hazy yellow-orange color with well over an inch of white head that had very good retention and lacing.

The aroma was dominated by citrusy hops, with some frootiness behind, and no real grain or malt.

Similar on the tongue, with the addition of a nice hit of bitterness at the back end.

Drinkability was fine, no issues.

Overall, a nice brew that straddles the line of traditional IPAs and the modern frooty versions. Worth a shot if you see it.
