Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 2-1-23 into a Teku glass.
Look- Very deep brown, opaque, medium brown frothy head, slightly above average head retention, average lacing.
Smell- Coffee, cocoa, slight hazelnut, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Coffee, cocoa, slight hazelnut, mildly sweet, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, highly creamy, silky, moderately bitter, mildly sweet, mild mouth coating.
Overall- Nice balance of coffee and cocoa, but I was hoping for more hazelnut character. Intensity of flavor was much higher than I expected from a 4.3%ABV beer. This beer provided a nice drinking experience, and would be a perfect early day beer. It was a nice change of pace from the ABV monsters I have been drinking lately.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 2/1/23.
Appearance: rich, dark, nearly-black hue with a finger of frothy tan foam atop. Lookin' sharp!
Smell: sweet aroma with marshmallow and toffee up front, and a little coffee and caramel in the back. A little dessert-ey, but it has a nice roast to it.
Taste: certainly a bit sweet, but not milkshakey. Nice malt, toffee, coffee, and yes, a bit of that marshmallow character from the aroma. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a nicely smooth creaminess. Really like it.
Overall: a solid stout; personally I'd call this a "milk/sweet stout", but that's just me. Good if you're looking for dessert.

Firsties! Canned 1st of Feb. A collaboration with about every other brewery in Astoria.
Pour is very dark brown, a finger of foamy head with a coffee aroma. Taste brings out chocolate and more coffee with maybe a whiff of the hazelnuts. Overall, it's a dry stout and not over- flavored by any one adjunct. Very modest 4.3% ABV, which puts it into the traditional British stout range.
