a truly fantastic lager, these guys do great things with just about every style, and for something designed as an outdoor summer crusher, its absolutely full of character, really impressive. the only thing missing for me with this is actually drinking it on their beer pier! this is like sneakily nerdy. the grain seems wholesome and probably decocted, amazing character from the malt in such a light and dry brew, i wish more of these were like this. golden and clear, high headed from the tap, happy carbonation. this is really nicely balanced, with floral noble type hops on the back end, but more for crispness and expediency in the finish to me than for assertive flavor or bitterness, its quite delicate and i reckon the full spectrum grain profile still drives this. the lager yeast is subtle but its there, slightly more of it as this warms a little. the whole thing is super bright, lively feeling, refreshing, and just interesting enough to hold my attention. a highly refined and very flavorful example of the style without forcing anything. masterful execution here, the kind of lager i want to drink all day long for the whole summer. nailed it!

16oz can from HomeBrewStuff. Pale golden pour, small silky white head. Aroma is grainy, bready. Taste is sweet and malty, finishes with a light crisp bite. Clean.
