16oz can
Pours a finger of white head into my Nonic. Retention is average and the head mostly fades within a minute or two. Lacing is pretty good. Body is a deep reddish copper. Looks alright.
Nose starts with a little bit of burnt toast but quickly transitions to a modest maltiness. Faint esters of tart cherry. Smells very clean, wet, and inviting.
Maltiness remains modest on the flavor, which makes for a very sessionable palate, though it is a little thin at times. Tart cherry comes in on the back end. Very clean and altogether pretty nice.
Carbonation is elevated. Body is crisp and somewhat light. It’s well attenuated but not super dry, though similar to the slightly low maltiness, it could still use a touch more sweetness. Bitterness is adequate, but certainly on the lighter side of the spectrum for the style. All things considered, it’s a pretty serviceable mouthfeel.
Drinkability is wonderful.
Overall a tasty and very sessionable lager. Could use a little more umph at times, but nice regardless.

Can.
A clear copper with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is toasty and hoppy with a delicate dried fruit character. Mild floral hops. The malt character is nice, with a toasted rye bread like character. The palate opens with a blend of mild bitterness and sweetness. Dark honey, toast, mild caramel paired with earth and lemon and a little floral character. Clean, quenching finish with the delicately fruity yeast character present. Tasty.

Canned 4/4. Lovely dark amber pour. Light tan head dissipates to a mere skim coat in a minute. Aroma is lmuted; at most, it's a bready, yeasty and clean nose. Taste is all malt from the get-go, quite nice if you like very malt-forward beers (and we do). Faintly sweet with some toffee and burnt sugar candy finish. Any bitterness is there as background to the malt, just to keep things balanced. ABV is only 4.9%, so it's hight sessionable. Good, tasty and enjoyable.

Taster flight at Fort George. Light brown pour, near amber, small ring of foamy head. Aroma is malty and nutty. Taste is malty, dry, mildly bitter and nutty. Nice feel all around.
