What is Dank? A descriptive term for beer? Very high quality cannabis? An example of auto-antonymy in human slang speech? The centuries-old term for a wet, humid and marshy place? A cognate of the word “Thanks” in Dutch and modern German?

NO.
Dank isn’t a word - it’s a feeling. The feeling of complete and total satisfaction that comes from a collaboration with one of the finest hop farms in the country. Dank Dive is a supremely aromatic West Coast IPA made with Yakima Chief Columbus Cryo, Citra, HBC 586 and Dank Dive.
Hops: YCH Columbus T90, HBC 586, Dank Dive, Citra
Malts: Rahr Pilsner, Weyermann Acidulated, Carafoam
Yeast: Chico

its just all so good from these guys, to me one of the best in the country, literally every beer is fire and they seem to only be getting better, like everything they do seems cant miss now, and this latest ipa is delicious. west coast and bitter and oily, but also really dry hoppy, highly saturated, and contemporary in terms of varietals and products, some cryo likely with the early start and high potency, this is elite level in terms of quality and uniqueness too, i adored it. blonde but just off from clear, lighter medium bodied overall, pale and crisp as this sort of thing goes, beautifully drive and well carbonated, well refined to be sure. is dank dive a hop varietal? the below description seems to suggest that, this is the first i am hearing of it if so, need to know more! the nose on this is fire, and there is no fall off in the flavor, punchy and bold all the way, raw coconut, designer weed, woodsy musk, bay leaf, lemon candy, and sliced pineapple. the grain is light and snappy but somehow is not overwhelmed by all the hops. bitterness is persistent but not obnoxious, and the freshness of the whole thing is dazzling. this is what modern ipa looks like, its distinctive even memorable in terms of hop complexion, its epic on the quality side, and its still a pint beer. i have to flatly disagree with the other reviewer, that was not my experience with this beer at all, it is anything but average. more please!

Taster flight at BitterCreek. Clear golden pour, creamy white head, solid lacing. Malty aroma with hops at the back. Taste is hoppy, but not the dankness I was expecting. More of a classic NW hop profile. Dry finish with a lingering bitterness
