Barrel-aged blend of imperial stout and barleywine.
We all know Fort George is the true master of the Dark (Beer) Arts! So, when we had the chance to head out to Astoria and spend the day barrel-tasting with Michal, Drew, and Brian, we couldn't pass it up. Together, we crafted a smooth, rich, slightly fruity blend that finishes warm and clean we named "Spreading Roots." This special brew has been aged between 12 and 23 months in barrels from Russel's Reserve, Westward, Westland, and Freehand Whiskey, giving it layers of character you won't find in a single-barrel-aged stout.
