Look: Mahogany and clear in the glass and on the pour, which generates a light khaki head that pillows up after settling to leave a nice coating of lacing on the rim
Aroma: Brown sugar, freshly baked brown bread, toffee, piloncillo, toasted bread, wafts of roasted tree nuts, molasses, and light earthy notes
Taste: Opens up with a rush of both freshly baked and lightly toasted bread that quickly develops depth. Roasted tree nuts kick off the next phase and followed quickly by layers of dark sugar that continue to deepen as they go back and forth with bread before earthiness shows up to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, clean, medium-high carbonation, and smooth and fairly soft on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. Everybody Loves Brown Ale right? I love the name of this and always dig a good brown ale during the tweener weather months (fall/spring) so quickly grabbed this when I saw it. It’s a tasty and well-made example that I’m glad I bought and foresee more of in my future. Recommended

Canned 2/25/25. You get a rich, brown pour, dark amber when held up to light. Very small head, nose is faintly yeasty. The first sip is a dry malty burst of taste followed by a well-crafted bitterness in the finish. As with most brown ales, the ABV of 5.3% firs right in. A very good representation of a classic Brown Ale.
