Can pour - Opaque yellow unfiltered juice, foamy white head, bubble ring with frosty lacing. Nose is all tropical and citrus fruit forward. Taste follows more or less with a bit of citric bite lingering on the finish.

Pours a soft, pale yellow color, delicate cloudiness yet appear a darker yellow and opaque in the glass; immense head, white and densely spongy, very long-lasting; softly creamy texture on top. Loads of tropical and citrus fruits in the smell; mango, pineapple, light orange and grapefruit. Wonderful taste; well-balanced citrus notes and overall bitterness; grapefruit; subtle oats; fresh thyme. Heavy body with a delicate raspiness tickling the palate; a bit juicy yet finishes on a dry note.

This is one spiffy hazy India pale ale. As a three-way collaboration, I'd say the breweries involved did a fine job. The beer is a beauty to behold and even with three months of age to it, it delivers some nice fruity freshness to the palate. The balance really comes through as there is no rough harshness to things yet there is no mistaking the look or taste of this as being anything but a hazy IPA. Very nice.

Look: Pours an expectedly turbid, bright orange with a lofty head that pillows up after slowly settling and leaving awesome lacing behind

Aroma: Nectarine, guava, honeydew melon, white table grapes, sweetened raspberries, mango, wafts of pineapple, and sweet bready malt

Taste: Opens up with pineapple and sweet nectarine and they hold for a moment before the tropical fruit salad begins. Guava, mango, and papaya in play, along with melon, grapes, and berries that continue to develop depth and meld with the nectarine/pineapple until it closes out

Mouthfeel: Full, leaning thick, smooth, soft, medium-high carbonation, and soft and smooth on the finish

Overall: I dig it. This was fun to try and compare with the WCIPA version as they differ in flavor/aroma dramatically, not just a hazy versus a non-hazy. Lots of tropical fruit in this version but to me, it’s a little much, especially with the softer feel of the hazy style. Still good, especially if hazy IPA’s are your thing but for me, the West Coast version blows this one away. YMMV

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 6-26-25 into an IPA glass at 52 degrees.

Look- Straw, highly hazy, white sudsy head, above average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Orange, ripe honeydew, lemon, pineapple, medium strength of scent.

Taste- Orange, orange zest, lemon, pineapple, ripe honeydew, between medium and high strength of flavor.

Feel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, mildly bitter, soft, moderately creamy, no astringency, mildly mouth warming, mildly dry finish.

Overall- This beer had a perfect appearance for the style. The flavor and aromatics both had great intensity and very nice depth and balance. The feel was soft and substantial with no astringency. This beer was well done all around and provided a great drinking experience.

i think i like the hazy even more than the west coast this year, such an awesome hop profile on it, hop products it seems make it burst with balanced intensity the whole way, and the range of hop fruitiness is unique, really good, glad i found this on tap this week, thought i may have missed out! this is yellow to light orange in the class, soft and uniformly hazy without dullness, unneeded weight, or sediment, peach tinted under a frothy inch of white head from the faucet, looks dialed in! strong lemongrass and berry, modern and weedy, instant when i smell and taste it, like it pops right the second i interact with it, white wine grape, sliced orange, french melon, pineapple for sure too, light coconut, nilla wafer, and mango, juicy with some middle sweetness, but its wheaty and cereal forward on the grain side too, it stays together as it warms better than most, and the ferment is tidy, nothing green or vegetal from over hopping, appropriately low but not invisible bitterness, even a snap to the finish which is usually absent in a style that tends to linger long. some oils to it, sudsy fluffy feel, good carbonation, moving towards dry, deliciously summery and fruity, papaya and mango and peach as it warms, intense without being dank and sticky and heavy, cool use of the best hops and hop products out there, not too filling. this is a series i look forward to each year, and they slayed it again, just need to track down the tropical edition now! loved this about as much as any of them...

I am trying this beer off the tapper at Wanderlust Craft Beer Taproom & Wine Bar in Pocatello, Idaho as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden white ring head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had tropical fruit, pineapple and stone fruit, notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with crisp and bright tangerine and pineapple fruit bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and slippery lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, pineapple, passion fruit and a little dankness. Flavor is pale, mildly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango, hints of light stone fruit and pine. Modest bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and nice mouth feel. Usually I skip the NE style 3-Way because the style is not that appealing to me, mostly because of low bitterness and left-overnight-glass-of-juice character. But I heard good things about this one and have enjoyed a handful of hazies that had good bitterness, so sprang for a can this year. On the minus side, the bitterness is tepid, better than most, but just at the edge that interests me. On the positive side, the hop bill is very pleasant, tasting more like a fresh glass of juice than a tired one. Moreover, the flavor stays strong throughout the taste, leaving great herbal hop notes in a somewhat lingering finish. An above average hazy and good enough I'll try this variant next year. I'd probably buy hazies regularly if they weren't all one-offs, making it a bad gamble for me with only one out of twenty appealing to me. Kudos to Fort George for getting me to get my toe in the water with this style again.

Pours a semi-hazy golden color with a medium head. Aroma is tropical fruit, mainly citrus though. Taste is similar with some citrus zest hop bitterness. I think their 3-way IPAs are starting to go downhill. DOB 7-2-2025

Collaboration with Mirage Brewing (Seattle, WA) and Sunriver Brewing (Bend, OR). 16-ounce can purchased at Winco Foods in Hillsboro, OR. Date stamp reads "06/16/25 THINGS ARE A BIT HAZY". Enjoyed in a glass from the Fort George Lupulin Ecstasy Festival.

Look:
The golden orange body is very hazy but stops short of opaque. The tall, rocky head of clean white foam quickly retreats to a sudsy ring and a patchy surface. It leaves exquisite lacing.

Smell:
The nose starts with loads of tangerines and grapefruit peel. Underneath all that citrus is a good hit of pine and notes of blueberries, mango, and a little diesel.

Taste:
Leads with an abundance of sweet tangerine flavor boosted with a splash of pink grapefruit and a slug of peach. The beer dries out through the middle to make way for a bit of toasty malt and a good dose of pine. The finish is long and tangy, with excellent bitterness. A little sweet pineapple and alcohol flavor join the mix in the aftertaste. Unlike most hazy IPAs, the flavors are strong from start to finish. Great stuff.

Feel:
Medium-bodied with soft texture and a nice rounded feel. Carbonation level feels about ideal for the body. Not too filling. Impressive.

Overall:
Almost all of the hazies I've ever tried smelled a lot better than they tasted, and most of the time the flavor gave out halfway between the sip and the swallow. But not this one. Hazy 3-Way IPA 2025 smells great and tastes even better, and the flavor is strong all the way through. The body is smooth but not too heavy. The hops have bite but no burn. While I really enjoyed this year's WCIPA version of 3-Way, I think this hazy version is even better.

And it yields superb hop burps. Outstanding.

Canned 6/26, so we are talking fresh. Pour is a hazy light yellow/amber. The head is a rich thick delight of tropic fruit, stone fruit and pine. First sip is loaded with flavor, again with well-defined and prominent tropical fruit with a long finish. A bit of sweetness comes in to add interest. Carbonation and body are excellent, probably one of the best we've had. All this and the beer never feels heavy at just 7%.

Very highly recommended.
