An absolutely smooth, explosively fruity West Coast Style Double IPA.
Big. Strong. Sharp. Boneyard’s legendary DIPA, Hop Venom, and Fort George’s Electric Surfboard are equally capable of crushing the boredom out of summer beer. Nothing says “I am ready for something to happen,” like a crisp, bitter, fruity, almost excessively dry-hopped Double IPA. We worked together on this one, which makes it double electric and double venom.
Packed with cryo hops, Electric Venom has a seriously fruity nose and a dry, pithy finish. It’s the perfect union of two of the best Double IPAs in the PNW.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, orange, mild mixed fruit and some pine. Flavor is citrus, piney and dank hops, grapefruit, orange, pine, hints of tropical fruit and catty dankness. Good solid bitterness in the finish, but not overboard. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess; nice mouth feel. It's hard not to get excited about a collaboration based on Hop Venom and a Fort George IPA (I'm not familiar with Electric Surfboard, but a big fan of FG IPAs). I think I got prepared for a tongue numbing hop blast, but this was a little dialed back from turbo bitterness. It had a great kick to it though, and could turn out to be deadly to hazy IPA drinkers. It was interesting that the aroma was straight WC citrus and pine, but the taste had a heavy dank component. Good malt base flavor. I like the hop bill and would get this again, although this can came from a shop outside my usual haunts and I may not see another one. Worthy of both the masters of NW IPAs.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, thin creamy white head. Light hoppy aroma, faint citrus. Taste brings some dank notes, weak tropical fruit, with a small bitter bite at the back. Very mellow for a DIPA.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 7-9-25 into a snifter at 49 degrees.
Look- Pale gold, mildly hazy, white creamy head, slightly above average head retention, average lacing.
Smell- Mandarin, pine resin, moderately dank, between medium and high strength of scent.
Taste- Pine resin, mandarin, pithy, spicy, high strength of flavor.
Feel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, highly creamy, highly bitter, mildly dry finish.
Overall- Great WC DIPA, every attribute is well above average. I enjoy each of the base beers, but I think this is a significant improvement over both.

16-ounce can purchased at John's Marketplace in Beaverton, OR. Date stamp reads "DOB 07/09/25 LUPULIN RESONANCE". Enjoyed in a nonic pint glass.
This beer is a collaboration between Fort George (Astoria, OR) and Boneyard Beer (Bend, OR).
Look:
The color is a rich gold with a hint of orange. The thick off-white head collapses to a sturdy ring in the first third of the glass and leaves copious lacing all the way down.
Smell:
The nose is semi-sweet and loaded with grapefruit peel, Brach's orange slices, overripe mango, earthy pepper, pine, and a sting of alcohol.
Taste:
Flavor starts sweet with notes of toasty malt, sweet rolls (no icing), and orange peel. It dries out quickly, giving way to a tangle of dried mango, pineapple, grapefruit pith, pine resin, and a trace of minerals. The finish is dry and tangy, with a bitterness that gathers like summer storm clouds above New Mexico.
Feel:
Mouthfeel is medium-heavy and slightly oily. Alcohol isn't hidden, but doesn't make a fuss.
Overall:
Frankly, this beer is a bit of a bruiser, and just the kind of thing you'd expect from an interpolation of Fort George Electric Surfboard and Boneyard Hop Venom. Not gonna lie, I prefer it to either of those beers.
