Mirrored Realities is the touching tale of a wayward young brewer who could solve any hop equation, combine any number of ingredients, calculate the final gravity of a test batch with uncanny precision. The one thing he couldn’t predict? How the beer would taste.

Brewing beer is a science. But when you’re working with new ingredients, it’s also an art, and you have to test your colors before you put them on the canvas. That’s why we made Mirrored Realities. In 2025, it’s a crisp, clear, West Coast-style experimental IPA with cutting-edge hop industry developments like Nelson Amplifier Oil.

It’s a glimpse into an alternate reality, using the newest, freshest hop science to create the beer of the future.

I must have bought this in Sep & then fresh hops hit so this got pushed aside until now - 11/8.
The hop lineup isn’t my go to but this beer delivers.
FG always finds a way to hit above their weight.
Looks great. Smells like fresh cut conifers. Sharp flavors.
West coast IPA for sure.

Unfiltered pour, a finger's worth of tight, persistent head. Good lacing. Aroma is minimal, odd for a well-hopped ale. Taste is typical IPA, in this case boosted with a few select hop varieties. Bitterness is tempered and not harsh. There doesn't seem to be a strong flavor or taste in mind, so you get some floral, some light pine and not much else, so the finish is a bit of a muddle. While certainly not a drain pour, it's hard to give this more than it's just another IPA.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 8-25-25 into an IPA glass at 53 degrees.

Look- Pale gold, mildly hazy, white frothy head, plentiful super fine visible particulate, above average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Dank, pine resin, grapefruit, between medium and high strength of scent.

Taste- Herbaceous, pine resin, grapefruit, spicy, weak strength of flavor.

Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, mildly creamy, mildly dry finish, highly bitter.

Overall- Appearance was wonderful and mouthfeel was above average. The nose was a great mix of dank, pine resin and grapefruit. Where it came off the rails was the flavor. It wasn’t unpleasant, it was just super underpowered. Overall it provided an average drinking experience, but the lack of flavor intensity really was a huge detractor.

16oz can, canned 3 weeks ago

Pours nearly two fingers of white head into my Willi. Retention is above average. Lacing is decent. Body is golden yellow, high clarity, with a modest nucleation. Looks good.

Nose is tropical, with underlying citrus - mango, papaya, maybe some pineapple. Smells great.

Flavor is a little bland and never really recovers with time. Faint fruit.

Carbonation is medium, but gives a full feel. Body is medium-light. Bitterness is medium but does start to hit hard in the finish. Sweetness is low-not noticeable. Overall a nice enough mouthfeel, but the bitterness gets somewhat abrasive over time.

Drinkability is fine.

Not a horrible beer but the lack of any real flavor makes the bitterness a little much and it drinks kinda sharp. Hops shouldn’t be fading this hard after only 3 weeks; a knowledgeable friend also tried this and is confidant it’s oxidized.
