This is a quite sensational hoppy brew, however you slice it. The hops are Mosaic, Manilita, Superdelic, Columbus Cryo, Roy Chinook. So you've got the familiar Mosaic, but what the hell is Manilita? Seems to be a New Zealand hop off the experimental list from Freestyle Hops in Upper Moutere, NZ. In any case this is clean, moderately bitter but sensationally aromatic. Flavors are beyond my imagination but in the honeydew-lime-papaya zone. Sipping and sipping, this one is endlessly delightful. From the 16 oz can purchased at Fort George and why didn't I bring home a case? Dated 10/29/25.

Look:
The beer has a slightly hazy bright gold body with a snow white head that quickly flees to the edges of the glass. The resulting ring and thin surface seem to punch well above their weight when it comes to lacing.
Smell:
Nose is as complicated as a Ross Macdonald plot, offering citrus, red berries, mango, peach rings, gummi bears, diesel, sage, Dots (the chewy, dome-shaped candy), pine resin, a distant whiff of skunk, and pineapple cream.
Taste:
The flavor follows, for the most part, while indulging in its own side quests. Citrus and stone fruits lead the party. Pine resin moves forward in the ranks, accompanied by a handful of mixed gummi bears, tropical diesel, and a few flakes of sage and thyme. Pineapple and grapefruit oil bring up the rear. Finishing bitterness is stronger than expected and most welcome. A spicy rye/caraway note flickers in and out like a light bulb that's about to give up the ghost.
Feel:
Body is light-medium with enthusiastic carbonation.
Overall:
This is a zesty modern IPA that's saturated with a wide variety of hop character but still holds together harmoniously. Really nice beer.

Clear pour, just a hint of haze. Nose is exceptional, an explosion of floral, fruit and pine. First taste is very much in the WCIPA class with moderately dry feel and solid carbonation. You start with a hop blast and a fruit and floral combination, then more pine as the beer opens up. Chinook gets top billing, followed by a number of others including Mosaic / Mosaic DynaBoost which certainly sounds impressive. All this, plus DDH as an extra touch. Finish is long and flavorable, no harshness at all. An easy-to-drink of just 6.7% ABV
All together, a top-notch WCIPA. A collab with Uchu Brewing of Japan. Now, would a Japanese brewery making an American West Coast style beer call it an East Coast?
