TROPICAL WEST COAST IPA test batch for VORTEX MONTH 2026
Wave Studies 102 is the second test batch for a special, super secret West Coast IPA collaboration coming out in April 2026 (better known as Vortex Month).
Waves are not just for the water. Everything on earth from sound to light to solid matter has and is influenced by wave patterns. Even fashion. Even trees. Even beer. The physical world is a mystery and Wave Studies are how we get to the bottom of it.
What’s new in this batch: Same hops as the last batch but different hop lots, quantities and addition times. Where you put stuff in matters just as much as what stuff you put in.
Hops: Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo
Malts: Rahr 2Row, Weyermann Acidulated

Draft at Here's How. Bright , clear golden pour, thin layer of fine white foam. Hoppy, piney aroma, touch of grapefruit peel. Taste comes in bitter, pine resin, acetic, lemon peel. Quite a punch in the mouth
