It’s a Tropical West Coast IPA as bright and aromatic as an island in the sun.

Here at Fort George we know a lot about forts: historic forts, blanket forts, tree forts. There’s no shortage of good forts in the Pacific Northwest and we’re proud to be among them.

Alefort Island was brewed especially for Alefort at Treefort Music Festival 2026.

Hops: Superdelic, Citra, Citra Cryo, Eclipse

Malts: Rahr Pilsner, 2-Row, Dextrin, Acidulated

predictably fantastic from one of the best in the region, cool they did a beer custom for an out of state event, i dig that, and i also am pretty sure i have dug every beer ive ever had with superdelic hops, this one is so unique but still seems rather unsung, its brilliantly showcased in this fruit forward ipa, very cool beer, listed at 7% abv at the festival. seems mostly pils malt based, very light on the grain side, out of the way, light bodied too, but not unbalanced, just modern, im not missing more malt character in this, not one bit. great hop aroma and flavor with the superdelic out in front, citra and citra cryo and eclipse as well, pretty unique all together, big aromas of orange, smarties candy, some grassiness, white coconut, red berries for sure too, lemongrass, superdelic makes it so unique, fruity but not cloying, almost crisp too, maybe fermented somewhat cooler, no real bitterness to report, not really anyway, not for this hop level, and thats true in the flavor too where the finish is quick but without much bite. subtle fruit punch, definite tangerine, lemongrass, good weed without over the top dankness, mellow grain in the background, all real fresh. the cryo citra is identifiable in here too, helps the flavor potency start early and really plays well with the others. fantastic combination really, unique and even memorable. light to medium bodied at most, just fine on the carbonation, on the dry side, quenching and bright. bummer this is a one off, its good enough to have as an everyday ipa, stoked to have gotten to drink a pint!
