A: Poured a noce and glowong orangish golden color with a nice white head, decent head retention on this leaving some lacing and bubbles after a few sips
S: Very much all over the place, nothing really doinated. Pine needles, grapefruits, orange peel, some light floral and grass notes
T: In your face with flavor, very hop forward. Loads of citrus and floral notes with some pine resin in the mix. The initial hop blast really stings the palate and provides an immediate wrecking, A light breadtiness undertone but this beer is hop flavor all the way.
M: Medium bodied, well carbonated, hop onslaught really provides bittering and flavor on the palate and mouthfeel.
O: Excellent. I dig Vortex but this Ft Geoerge outdid themselves on this. Very nice. 2.0 should stick around.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy orangeish gold color with less than 1/2 inch of white head that had very good retention and a better than moderate amount of sticky rings of lace.
The aromas were very hop forward, lots of floral, some citrus, maybe just a touch of pine and a light malt scent. On the tongue, the light malt flavors were almost totally dominated by those big, bold hops. The hop profile was, again, mostly floral, with some support the citrus and pine.
The body was fairly typical for the style, right in the middle of the range, and was smooth and even, with a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was very good, I'm going to try to grab a couple more while they're available. Overall, a very nice brew, I think this is a must try if you see it, as I suspect it's part of a limited series.
