16 oz. can poured into a goblet.

Appearance - Clear golden orange. Small white head. Chunky bits floating about.

Smell - Pine and grapefruit. Grainy. Decent hop profile.

Taste - Hoppy. Pine and grapefruit again. Grainy backing, but some caramel. A big body for a pale ale. Mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium body, slightly slick. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Less impressive as it warms. Decent hop profile, though.

Clear dark amber with sticky foam in the Timmermans goblet. Aroma of green melon with a whiff of citrus. Tastes like a melon milkshake for some reason. Fairy sweet, but quite mild in every way. Quite sudsy and prickly on the tongue.

Interesting and highly drinkable lighter brew. No telling what it's brewed with but the brewer says "This limited run 6-pack is a part of the Fort George Throwback Series." I wish other breweries I think highly of would go back and re-brew some favorites from the past. Purchased from Whidbey Beer Works. Canned 12/29/2020.

Slightly hazy, light amber, bit of a head. You pick up a whiff of fruit aroma and not much else. A little malt comes up on the first sip, then a pronounced bitterness. Not a lot of persistance there, no off flavors. Well carbonated. Overall, a serviceable NWPA.

Nothing amazing, nothing bad either. It’s a bit over carbonated for me, but on the other hand it is balanced nicely and has an enjoyable grapefruit finish. Overall enjoyable and mellow.

Look: Clear dark orange with a silky-looking pure white head that settles quickly to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Fir needles, candied orange, marionberries, limes, menthol, and some sweet bready malt underneath it all
Taste: Minty fir and citrus lead the charge with some berry notes coming into the fold soon after. Malt makes its presence known for a bit in the middle before another blast of conifers and lime-led citrus along with a light hop bite close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, a little slick, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry and cold feeling on the finish
Overall: I’m quickly becoming a fan of this. I honestly don’t know who the collaborator is on this and if it had any influence on the ingredients but this is awesome. It has a little Magnanimous IPA influence in it with the conifer/fir/menthol notes which is great as that beer (Magnanimous) is one of my favorite Fort George beers. Super tasty, hoppy, and good balance throughout as well. I really would describe this as Magnanimous IPA Jr. Outstanding and recommended

I see this hasn't been reviewed since 2013.
Pours a pale ,clear orange body, with a lovely creamy looking off white head.
Lovely citrus and floral hops in the aroma very fresh smelling.
Taste the same..so well integrated. With the caramel malts. Finishes with a nice mellow bitterness.
Nice well carbonated and balanced mouth feel. Slight dry finish.
Overall a very well balanced and drinkable PA

16oz can into tulip. Thanks Jeff!

A: Pours a bright glowing orange with a couple fingers of thick off-white head. Watch the last pour, it’s rather chunky. The head slowly faded into a thick lasting film that left patches of spotty lace down the glass.
S: Huge sweet and sticky citrus notes of tangerine juice and grapefruit pith. Juicy and fresh smelling.
T: More bitter citrus follows the nose. I get notes of grapefruit pith, citrus rind, lemon zest and a hint of bready malt in the finish. The aftertaste has more notes of citrus, especially lemon rind.
M: Medium body, slick and easy drinking mouthfeel, fuzzy carbonation.
O: Bitter and clean with dominant citrus notes. Enjoyable overall, but not especially memorable.

Hazy golden amber with a small white head. Good amount of lacing.
Smell is pine, floral, citrus, and a whiff of cantalope.
Taste is pine and grapefruit with just adequete amount of bready malt.
mouthfeel is quite full for the style. Carbonation is just right.
The beer has a long bitter slightly dry finish.
Overall a decided difference from my usual favorites in this style but a nice change of pace. Veers boldly into IPA territory. Well done Fort George.
