Rich brown to almost black pour with ruby edges. Smell is rich and nutty malt with perhaps the faintest hint of smoke in the nose. Taste is nutty maltiness, with some light smoke as well. Bittersweet and smokiness is balanced very well and it's not overwhelming smoky. Medium bodied, and a nice take on a brown.
