Pours muddy burnt orange with little to no head as served. Smell is mild for a double ipa, which is what I was told it was. Smelled of slightly hoppy dark rich caramel, and rye. Taste was bittersweet tangy, rich sweet/tart caramel malt. Earthy, hops and a zesty rye like flavor too. A bit of lasting dry grapefruit rind like bitterness. Pretty solid, but not their best.
