Muddy, brown-amber, with a filmy head. No noticeable carbonation. Toasted malt aroma with a hint of hopping. Bland. I am immediately reminded of Shiner Bock. If the intent was to create a hoppy Octoberfest, this brew has missed the mark, as there is only a slight hint of hopping. Medium to heavy mouthfeel and nondescript finish. Is there something I missed here? Be curious to hear what others think.
