On tap during a recent trip to Austin. I have been wanting to try this beer for more than a year and had barely missed it on several occasions, so I was extremely happy to finally find it on tap at the Barton Springs location.

The beer pours a slightly hazy dark yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a ton of resinous hop notes, as well as some great orange citrus and bread notes.

The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of juicy orange notes, as well as some pine notes. There are also some floral hop notes that go very well with the rest of the flavors. The biscuit malt keeps the bitterness fairly low, but there is still a ton of hop flavor and the beer is very drinkable.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Tried on tap at Uncle Billys, 8 Aug 2010. Served in a shaker pint.

Large foamy off white head. Hazy dark golden color. Aroma is floral and resiny, some citrus and ethanol. Starts resiny bitter with a lot of orange zest. Becomes fairly sweet with a fruity finish. Lots of grapefruit and orange throughout. Ethanol is prominent. Medium body. Aftertaste is floral and bittersweet.

Zombilicious.

a orange pour and a rich sweet citrus fruit and a nice zesty pine nose. great great freshness and unfiltered quality. nice thick head that tastes of tangerine. a citrus bitter of blood oranges. this is a nice blend of a summer IPA. with a nice blend of fruit. every orange know this this planet. some floral zing to clean up after each sip. rich and enjoyable. wonderful carbonation that expands the citrus notes into something more than just orange and pine. nice malt. delicate but not thick.
