On tap at the Uncle Billy's at Lake Travis. I was excited to try this beer after seeing it won a silver medal in the Keller Beer category at the 2011 GABF.
The beer pours a very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of pilsner malt and bread malt, as well as some grass from the hops. Smells very clean and very nice.
The flavor is similar with a few added notes. I get a lot of biscuit malt with some grass from the hops, as well as some light orange and lemon notes which accentuate the other flavors very nicely.
Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
A very easy drinking, refreshing lager. Definitely worthy of its award-winning status.
