A medium mahogany color with a modest white head that sustains impressive lacing. The aroma includes a flowery pine hop over sweet caramel-toffee. The flavor brings out a fairly intense floral hop with hints of pine and grass, but it is not abrassive, and is tempered by sweet, somewhat cloying pineapple fruitiness and moxie ideas. This is a medium bodied brew with a frisky, peppery feel over the more syrupy base. But ultimately it’s about a pretty sweet and hoppy experience, not a sipper but not a guzzler. Plenty good, but not a home run. Recommended.
