Tap tonight at the River Room at Whole Foods... Pours dark brown but clear, more like a dark brown ale than a porter.. off white head is okay. Nose is all about the coffee, little in the way of maltiness or hops... Flavor is basically a thin porter with a big coffee component.. I dig the coffee, but this doesn't strike me as a porter at all.. still very tasty and pretty good if taken on the merits.
