on tap at the pub:
Look is a golden orange very bright vibrant and beutiful
Smell is sweet banana, clove, a belgian yeast definately, very pugent, smells great
Taste: more of a triple than a saison, sweet and savory, buttery, tangy, the sourness really doesnt present itself really. get a taste of mint, and dare i say blue cheese? not the kind of sourness i enjoy.
mouthfeel: bubbles buest hard but is pleasent
Drink is good, but is a strong beer

Tried this on-tap at Saraveza in Portland, OR
appearance - poured an opaque yellow with a white head, good lacing
smell - yeast, spice, citrus
taste - yeast and citrus up front, lightly bitter on the finish
mouthfeel - light-medium bodied, good carbonation, slightly dry finish
drinkability - very smooth beer, refreshing, easy drinking

The Saison Pours a hazy orange yellow color with a good sized white head. The smell is slightly yeasty with a mild peppery aroma, a bit of sweetness and a tad bit of citrus. The taste has the peppery sweet flavor associated with Saison but differs from a regular Saison because of a fairly strong cascade like citrusy hop presence. The hop presence tones down the peppery flavor and adds a nice citrus flavor. The finish is very bitter more bitter then most Saisons. An excellent Saison for hop heads. Probably the best beer, I have had from Double Mountain.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a yellow-straw color with a tall, fluffy, white head that had good retention and lacing. The aroma was pretty typical for the style, yeasty, spicy and a bit funky. The flavor was similar to the scents and also was typical for the style. The body was a bit fuller and stickier than usual. Drinkability was pretty good, I enjoyed having a couple while listening to music. Overall, a decent example of the style. worth a shot if you see it.
