Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear medium gold color with almost 2 inches of just off-white head that had decent retention and above average lacing.
The aroma was very pine hop forward with the expected malt hiding in the background. On the tongue the malt and hops were a bit more evenly balanced. There was a slight leathery taste that I found a bit off-putting for the style.
The body was fairly typical. Drinkability was about average. Overall, a nice little beer that's worth trying if you see it.
