Not sure if the name is Schwarzwald. I'm copying it verbatim from the Gingerman menu in Boston.
Dark brown color where light passes through the center. Clear. Moderate head but nearly no lace (two streaks).
Lightly dark to the nose no sweetness nor any bitterness to report.
This is a mild dark beer. While the essential notes of darker unsweetened caramel were present, this is a "comfortable" beer. No flaws but also no uniqueness to the taste.
