400 is an 8% New England Double IPA that pours a hazy and opaque - orange gold. Columbus, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops including a generous double dry hop, create aromas of citrus rind, ripe mango, and grapefruit zest. Pours with a slight head that dissipates quickly. Minimal bitterness throughout. Slight sweetness on the finish. Mouthfeel is amazingly soft and pillowy - the most delicate NEDIPA we have produced yet.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 12/21/22 into the test glass
A - A bit hazy, lite straw color, excellent frothy cap. Equally great retention and lacing.
S - Tropical fruit, sweet summer grains, Orange, pineapple a bit of pine
T - Follows the nose, add a bit more, in the way of tropicals, more pineapple, green grape, and a bit of mango.
M - Medium in body, stays sweet across the palate, soft water profile, a bit of piney bitterness at the closing
O - A fine and upstanding IIPA, one I will be looking for again

On-tap 11/27/2021 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy deep gold color, with a large dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral and dank hops, strong tropical & citrus fruits and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong burst of juicy sweetness from flavors of tropical and citrus fruits. Then a strong but not over-powering floral and dank hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is on the light side but brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, very good representation of style. This is a very solid 2NEIPA to drink for a long time.

Pours a hazy light orange with a tall billowy head and a lot of lacing.
Smells of grassy hops and citrus.
Tastes of mildly tart grapefruit and sweet orange and lemon. The finish has a tiny amount of bitterness.
Medium light body with light carbonation. Lush clean mouthfeel.
This is a very juicy mild mannered super NEIPA. Folks who dislike IPA bitterness should like this brew.

Reviewed blind. 16oz can received from @WunderLlama in BIF #14.
Poured into the Mayflower pint glass Maynard sent me. As I poured, I thought, "It looks like an IPA" -- somewhat hazy, yellow, couple fingers of foamy head. Head collapses down to a bit less than a centimeter but is clinging to the sides of the glass.
Smell is reinforcing the IPA idea. Citrus, lots of lemon zest, maybe a bit of mango and a bit of melon.
Taste is also reinforcing the IPA idea. Tons of tropical fruit, and moderately boozy. Somewhat bitter resin is evident in the finish, but I really get a lot more creamy/juiciness out of it. Melon isn't gone, and maybe there's an echo of nelson-like bubble gum and some honeydew.
Mouthfeel is rich and creamy. Overall...I'm going to guess this is a New England Double IPA, about 8.1% abv. And I think it's pretty good.

amateurish malty sweetness indicative of a new brewer(y)? not great at all... drinkable but not in the mix for purchasing another one. No date on the can. purchased from Halftime Beverages in NY and shipped to SoCal. HalfTime has provided exceptional stuff to me over the years so i'm not suspicious of their inventory. this just tastes like a very amateurish IPA. clean and bright on the pour but can smell the malt-sweetness before the first sip. kind of like the early versions of the high-abv IPAs of several years back when everyone was tring to balance out the flavors....

16 ouncer .... 9/28/20 stamped on the bottom of the can.
Pours out with a HUGE, long lasting and sturdy cap....all hazed up and inviting looking underneath, and leaving all sorts of spots and strands of lacing as I enjoy the first few sips.
Ripe fruit sniff with pears and pineapple coming to mind.
Tasty NEIPA. more ripe fruits abounding, pineapple, again pears, peaches...soft, flavorful and quite delightful....go get some

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had very nice dank fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with even bitter bite mixed with smooth citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Look: Pours a completely opaque but very bright; almost orange juice color with a dense, two finger head of foam. Leaves decent lacing as the head dissipates. Some floaters from the can at the very end of the pour. No bubbles visible through the glass.
Aroma: Waxy/Alcoholic. Big notes of orange peel and yellow grapefruit rind upfront. Mostly bitter on the nose but with just a bit of sweet tropical citrus in the background. 8% ABV detectable on the nose. Pine sap on the tail end. Slight floral peppery.
Taste: Very clean tasting. Upfront pleasantly dry flavors of pungent grapefruit oil and very mild lemon rind. Transitions into a mildly sweet and very creamy orange marmalade/popsicle flavor. Some dank mango. Finishes malty with tea biscuits and floral, waxy honeycomb, fading out into supple pine. . . the flavor is more juicy/tropical than bitter, but that isn't to say it isn't hoppy. Very well balanced by the malt bill but still oily and even slightly dank.
Feel: Carbonation is low. Body is very rich and silky. It's a little under carbonated if you ask me. Alcohol profile is undetectable on the palate, although it's present on the nose. More sugary than bitter but still dry.
Overall: A little one dimensional but it still tastes great. Slightly underwhelming on the nose but that's a minor issue. My only real criticism is that it's a little under carbonated for my taste; it's almost flat. The body is a little too heavy in my opinion. The flavor is what counts though and it tastes superb.
