Appearance is a pale apricot clouded tone with pink highlights and an off white head builds up nicely and wisps away pretty quickly lacing is thin. Aromatics contain tart pomegranate notes with an herbal grassy notion in there as well not sugary scented just real fruit smell arising the light toasted malt sweetness is inviting, let's taste. Flavor clean drinking beer with a tart natural fruit finish light session golden ale contains biscuit pale malt sweetness then it's aged on real pomegranates can't beat that, I spoke with Andrew Maxwell and they have a new fruit supplier where things are more readily available so expect more interesting twists and turns. Mouthfeel is light bodied airy smooth flowing carbonation really goes down so smooth with just some tart dryness but no sugary cloying qualities smooth and natural. Drinkability a great summer sipper not usually a lover of the fruit beers but this is damn good and innovative.
