"We added a blend of fruits, dominated by 42 pounds of blueberry and a blackberry base! This is a delicious twist to your typical fruit beer."
A - Pours a hazy dirty brown color almost ruby tint with a 1/4 inch of head.
S - A very good smell it doesn't seem too tart almost sweet with fresh raspberries and blackberry goodness. Malts don't seem to aggressive but they are present.
T - Well at first it's a great fruit beer I get some tartness from the raspberries then the blackberries make it sweet with the underlining bready malt base. But after a while the ABV does get kind of cloying, giving it a sort of malt liquor or "ice beer" flavor and the bready malt seems to fade a tad as well.
M - Medium bodied it does get rather boring.
Overall it was good to try a fruit beer with a higher ABV but it kind of made it less sessionable and the ABV really shows. Worth at least a try though.
