I don't have the descriptor on this one but it's an amber ale brewed with the same Belgium yeast as the "Grateful White" so I am in for a treat!
A - good to see a 1/4 inch of carbonation after than Belgium bock tragedy. Beer is a bright hazy amber brown.
S - Oh no it smells of tart lemons and apples. Damn it. Their is some caramel malt in there with some sweeter malts yet little balancing hops. Lets see how it drinks.
T - Taste reminds me of a Flanders Brown ale with some sweeter balancing malts but little hops to distract the tart aspect. Kind of drain pour worthy.
M - Kind of crisp, thankfully carbonated. Would have eventually finished it.
Overall I was kind of glad to get back from the bathroom to find the pour poured out. I guess the bartender thought I left without paying yet my coat was still there... Regardless she asked me for a new pint and I got a Grateful White. Delicious as always why is it they can't make another decent Belgium ale?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
