On draught at SBC, 03/07/08. 7% abv, 18 IBUs. An amber red beer with a slight haze, but almost no carbonation or lacing of which to speak. Sweet malts, honey, and a nutty note - walnuts perhaps - in the nose, with a strong citrus hop presence joining in the mouth, but the mouth seems subdued, very mild. This beer is definitely undercarbonated, but it's still quite tasty, albeit subtle.

Yellow/golden color with no head or lace. I can smell the meade and honey without putting it to my face. Taste lacks a bit where the smell leads you but still has some definate honey flavor. It leaves me wanting more honey. We have some dry hops finish and with an average drinkability; And the ABV is hid very well with subtle hints. Overall a decent brew with not so average characteristics makes for a good drink.

Sweet floral aroma is pretty intense and concentrated. Headless and golden/orange in color. Looks quite still like a mead though it certainly isn't a mead. Honey, ripe fruit and a lot of malt pop out in the fore. Slightly herbal/floral int he middle then honsweet again in the finish. Gets cloying after a while.
