Thanks to flexabull for sending this beer in the UGLY Duckling BIF, now all I need is the Bright ale to complete the North Star Crafter Brewery collection.
Pours a golden color with a huge fluffy head, great rentention with tons of patchy lacing.
Smell is without a doubt, quite bitter with the hop kick, almost perfect for an ESB, if only not too complex.
Taste doesn't have much of a hop kick right off but follows up with a good bitterness, slightly citrus but not overly, good carbonation amount and easily drinkable.
Not my favorite ESB, but a pretty good one, just behind Atlantic and Redhook.

Pours a bright gold color, slightly hazy, with a nice white head.
Aromas are hoppy. A bit floral, spicy, and with some citrus notes.
Flavor is crisp and clean tasting. A bit more hoppy than a normal ESB, but not overpowering. Some creamy bread and slightly sweet malt flavors. Some light caramel, and hard candies as well. Finish has a nice citrus hop bite.
Mouthfeel is good, crisp, full, and with nice carbonation.
Drinkability is quite good. This is a tasty and very easy to drink ESB. Nice American twist on the British style. I am not sure what the ABV is, but it doesn't seem like a lot, I easily enjoyed two pints in one sitting... quite sessionable
