On tap at the brewery with the in-laws. I'm all about this saison. Classic smooth subtle wheat yeast hint of hop.

A- 12oz rips open with a loud hiss and pours a hazy pale gold brew into a tulip glass with a massive foamy white head. Great head retention as the cap rises up to four fingers high. The head never dies down fully and drops wide loads of lacing at each stop.
S- Spicy Belgian yeast dominates the aroma with peppercorn, coriander, lemon, bread and a touch of clove and banana. Pale cracked base grains come to mind but the yeast is the main player.
T- Backs up the aromatics with a straightforward Saison base rooted in spiciness like pink peppercorn, coriander and clovey phenolics. Lemon and orange citrus oil come to mind in the backdrop with bready, floral, grassy, white grape juice and hints of pale malts bringing on a touch of sweetness.
MF- Light bodied but plentiful texture on the palate as the brew lands with foaminess and creaminess. Extremely high level of carbonation is borderline effervescent. Ends mostly dry.
A really solid representation of the style as Saison yeast shines and drives the beer's flavor almost 100%. Spicy with a touch of citrus and pale fruits.

Pours a light fizzy fluffy head that fades semi slowly thanks to many streaming bubbles, very clear honey slight darker golden color.
Nose is like a typical saison, floral spices, lemony, citrus zest, sweet golden malts, little grainy doughy, mild fruity esters with the spices.
Taste brings more of the same basic saison, golden malts with a little sweets, little toasty grainy and doughy. Mild floral saison spices, plenty of lemony and zest, with grassy flavours and lemongrass, with mild phenols in the background, and light fruity esters. Fair bitterness, grassy hops ands lemony zesty bitterness, little yeasty flavor in the background. Finish is dry and pretty bitter, more lemon zest lingering, mild spices and esters, fruity, touch phenols.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, not over carbonated like many saisons.
Overall decent, esp for and American made saison, a bit too bitter in the end, and fairly boring, not super complex or experimental with the yeast, but enjoyable for sure.

A - Slight haze to a golden body with a thin white head which fades quickly and leaves moderate lacing.
S - Pepper as expected, but there is a lot of fruity esters here which surprised me. Some light biscuit character.
T - Fruity esters, malt sweetness, pepper spiciness is light, some caramel.
M - Medium body, medium carb. Pepper character is more apparent in the aftertaste.
O - A different saison than I am used to maybe that is the Spring quality. There's much more fruitiness than I would have expected. It is a good beer and one you should try for yourself.
