Listed as a "limited release" on the brewery's website, I decided to give this one a try since I'm a big wheat beer fan and it seemed the perfect opportunity to have one (hot summer day down here in Florida). Served on-tap and poured into a Pint glass.
A: medium cloudy amber color. Very small head that fainted rather quickly which was a tad disappointing because I like bigger ones on wheat beer (a Weizen glass could have helped with this probably?). Decent small lacing.
S: nice sweet aroma with strong wheat presence. Hints of banana were noticeable. Very slight honey and lemon aromas were fighting in the back for some attention.
T: nice balance of wheat, banana and bit of citrus in the tongue; me likes it.
M: medium carbonation that never got in the way of enjoying this beer; light to medium body. Goes down easy and it's very drinkable.
O: I was very happy with this offering from Dunedin Brewery. This beer complemented my dinner at the place pretty well and it was an excellent choice to start the hot-summer evening. Highly recommended if you stop by.
