Bottle thanks to Matt, poured into a teku.
Pour: Mostly clear pale orange with a finger of white head. Leaves a decent amount of lacing, and the head recedes to a rim rather quickly.
Smell: Big spicy pepper and clove up front, with a very heavy belgian yeast aspect. Some banana peel and pear. Very bready even on the nose.
Taste: Similar to the nose, but with a heavier emphasis upon a doughy sweetness. Lots of white pepper and clove. Banana and a light citrus. Finishes with more doughy sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Nice carb makes this refreshing and drinkable, but the doughiness present in the taste carries over to the feel and makes this a touch heavy. Definitely leaves a long lingering breadyness after the finish
Overall: A solid summer beer, but is too yeast driven.
