750ml Bottle - shared by lubiere
Appearance - Gold colour with a large size fizzy/frothy white head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some great lacing. The head lasted for a long time before it was gone.
Smell - Cloves, lemons, breads/grains, funk, tropical fruits
Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste breads/grains, vinegar and lemon juice. There is also some floral notes, a bit of funk, and some nice tropical fruit notes.
Overall - I liked this one quite a bit, the fruity notes balance out the sours ones nicely. I'd like to have a few more bottles of this.

Acetone dominates every aspect of this beer. Not worth typing a full review. If you love the smell and taste of nail polish then this beer is for you. Starts with a nice golden pour but is all down hill from there. The smell and taste both are fruit with heavy acetone rendering it undrinkable. Disappointing from a brewery that has put out some nice saisons over the past few years. Not sure why they would ever let this leave the brewery, sometimes you just have to count your losses. I'm counting my financial loss on this drain pour.

Picked up as a completely random shelf grab while visiting my cousin in Tampa. I had heard great things about this brewery and only tried a few random sips at tastings and gatherings. Reviewed from notes.
A- Hazy golden yellow, one finger white head with lackluster retention. Legs but only a few spots of lace.
S- Acetic beast, seriously a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips. Sour lactic but mostly apple cider vinegar and popcorn come to mind.
T- Feels I am drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with a Saison and huge lemon juice lactic doom. Tiny bit of coriander yeast spice and balsamic vinegar also comes to mind. It is sour, for sure, but not in a good way. Tamarind is sour but vinegar really just keeps coming to mind.
MF- Slightly frothy light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Finishes burning my taste buds off with all sorts of vinegar flavors.
From what I have read, all of their beers are "infected" and this was intended to be sour. It seems like an experiment gone wrong and most reviews I have read seem to all point that way. Everyone in the room agreed that it was "interesting," not the good way. I will have to do more research next time I guess.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
