On-cask at Hoptomic. Pours a bright brassy gold, slightly hazed, and is crowned with a small wisp of bubbles. The nose is fairly potent, offering sharp notes of tannic oak, lemon pith, and apple skin. The flavor is more focused around grassy and elderflower-like notes atop a muscat-vinous tannic base. The feel is between slick and silky, in any case it works well. This is a very complex brew, and tremendously enjoyable; I would like more.
