A- This is a pretty hazy saison and on the darker side. Nearly matches the cypress wood bar in Swamp Head that I set the snifter down on.
S- Farmhouse funk. Quite full, robust nose.
T- A bigger saison than I'd expect from these guys but it's good. The rosemary and pepper come through in waves. The rosemary is apparent from the offset but the pepper hits you in the middle and especially in the finish with a nice little bite.
M- Again, a bit bigger than I was expecting. The big full belgian mouthfeel is here and this is by no means a light saison like their new Caitlin.
O- A good beer and the complexity added by the spices is a nice one.
