**Note this was brewed using ale yeast not traditional lager yeast due to brewer's preference**
A - Initially I was suspicious as this color is a bit darker than most of the Marzens I've seen. It was a dark rich mahogany color. Slightly cloudy but not yeasty. This has the color of dark maple syrup. Very little head.
S - Sweet malty not yeasty or all that hoppy.
T - Sweetly malty with caramel and I guess crystal malts. It's just a bit too simple. And the finish ends with just plain maltyness.
M - Very smooth. Silky like a milk shake.
D - Very smooth . Despite the somewhat simple boring nature of the beer (not counting or perhaps because of the use of ale yeast ) I found it to be the most drinkable of the 3 beers they had on tap the day I arrived. Less impressive stylistically but more right for the party animal inside me.
