Reviewing from notes
A: Pours amber/dark amber with small head, no retention and very sparse lacing.
S: Nothing. Very disappointing for a pale ale.
T: Barely any middle with a malt back-end but not very distinguishable. There is only a very faint hop bitterness. According to the owner the current batch had Columbus and NZ Cascade (and no dry hopping) but I got none of that.
M: Medium and a good amount of carbonation.
D: I wouldn't complain if somebody bought me this beer. It's not a horrible taste. On the other hand, it also has very little taste, which means I wouldn't buy it if I had better options. Sessionable, but not for the right reasons.
