22oz bottle poured into a tulip
A: Pours a hazy burnt orange with a 1.5 finger head that lingers
S: Pineapple, tropical fruit, wheat, caramel, and a bit of citrus
T: Matches the nose: malt-forward with caramel but also a good dose of tropical fruit. Adds some black pepper
M: Medium to full-bodied, a light bitterness and a bit sweet but not cloying
O: I would prefer less malt but this is still a tasty DIPA

Had at the Horseheads Brewery

L: Pours a semi-opaque deep amber color. Generous off-white head.

S: Resinous evergreens and a bit floral.

T/F: Solid malt backbone up front. A bit herbal/floral with some nice piney resinous hops. Clean at the finish and nicely carbonated.

O: A nice DIPA from Horseheads and one of their better brews. An easy drinker.

9/3...pours bright orange amber with thick foam that clings to the edges. Light malty nose. Mellow malt taste, chewy, pine in the background, Black pepper mouthfeel. Tasty.
