pulled the last can out of the back of one of the beer fridges. it's 6 to 8 months old. it's holding up good. it hasn't changed all that much from the first cans I drank of the six pack

nice fine fluffy head, leaves plenty of lacing
smell is good: pecan and some chocolate and roast. with a odd but good sweet dark fruit notes??
Taste is pecan, dry chocolate, a little roast. plus faint maple, caramel and dark fruit. bounces back in forth between bitter and sweet
A solid beer that really adds up to 3.89/5

I get to be first. I like this porter there is a hint of pecan in the nose and taste. The maple syrup comes through also including the slightly bitter finish real maple syrup can have. I really enjoyed this beer, great for this last week with days -25 to -33 without windchill.
