Bought this on a whim, as I couldn't find any decent oatmeal stouts in (I'm just beginning to discover how awesome they are).
A little thin but chocolate/coffee notes come thru. Very little bitterness, balanced well...a little more watery than I'd like. Still solid and wouldn't send it away if offered.

Oatmeal Stout pours a black color, with a small, tan head. Mellow aroma, hints of sweet malts. Flavor is nice and creamy, good hints of lactose, and just hints of smoke and vanilla. Good body and feel. Overall a very solid milk stout.

On tap at Bull Falls. Dark thin body. Roasted oat and cereal aroma. Taste is chocolate, oats, and slight roast. Very silky smooth. Good, but I liked the BA version more.

Stopped by the local brewery to enjoy a Stout on a cold blustery WI winter evening
A- Cola black with a fluffy 2 finger beige head which melts away to a ring around the glass.
S- Dark roasted malts, Caramel sweetness, with chocolate and coffee notes
T- Follows the nose to a tee. Not quite picking up the oatmeal sweetness as I do with Sam Smith's; but it seems to be quickly masked by the sweet caramel and chocolate flavors. Starts of sweet and smooth and finishes dark coffee bitter to balance things out.
M- Lacking in this department. Way to thin for an Oatmeal Stout. Without a doubt it has the classic Oatmeal Stout smoothness, but severely lacks the creamy qualities.
O- For a smaller local brewery, it is a decent take on an Oatmeal. The flavor profile is there but it is lacking in body. With a few adjustments, it can be a solid take on an Oatmeal.

A: Coke black, nice creamy head. A bit of lace.
S: Roasty grains, some coffee.
T: Follows nose, picked a slight bit of smoke. Almost seems to be like a "light" stout.
M: Lighter than many stouts. Clean & refreshing for an oatmeal.
D: Easy to drink because of the thiness.

Very dark brown to barely black color. There is some tan lacing and some light foam that clings to the glass a little bit. The nose is gently populated by coffee, smoke and oatmeal notes that seem to coexist as individual sensations rather than blend. The flavor has some gentle coffee and smoke flavors. There is a little bit of bitterness in the finish that seems to be a result of the smokiness paired with some gentle hops. There is a little turn in the mouth upon finish, but nothing that would scare you too much. Its a pretty smooth beer, but I believe the fact that it came out a littler warmer than most pushed beers helped with that.

Had this on tap while in Wausau, so presumably it was quite fresh.
Poured into a pint glass, shows a dark, but not quite black brew, with a small chocolate colored head, little retention or lacing.
Roasted malts, some chocolate, some oatmeal. Aroma is so faint that I asked the server to double check I got the correct beer.
Medium bodied, lacking that creamy aspect one hopes for on an oatmeal stout, the flavor has little oatmeal to be noticed, it is mostly chocolate semit sweet, with a faint roasty bitterness to balance.
