A: On tap, clear yellow. A couple shades darker than a macro-lager. Decent head retention, nice lace windows.

S: Some malt, some biscuit smell.

T: Follows nose. Maybe a bit of honey sweetness.

M: Not as heavy as some Maibocks. Clean finish, nothing noteable, or nothing disagreeable.

D: Easy drinker. Wish I had another, but, moving on to other styles here!

This beer appears to be rotating, which is what I clicked when I added it. It doesn't appear on the website but was there when I visited and from the appearance of the sign, it may even be there permanently, but the style leads me to believe it will rotate. I didn't ask when I was there because I thought surely it was already on this site. It isn't, so I have added it.

It is a dark gold color in the glass and has a nice rim of foam around the edges and light lacing on the surface. There are tiny bubbles of prickle. The nose has a mildly malty character and the grains come through nicely, it is about what I have come to expect from maibock style of beer. The mouthfeel is pretty decent, though not as creamy or thick as some maibocks. There are slight sensations of bittering and light hops, but they are barely noticable if you aren't "reviewing" the beer. The finish has a mild "macro" quality to it, but really that makes it more "drinkable," right? There are some hops that come out in the finish and the aftertaste. Pretty good beer. It came to me at a warm temperature for a non-cask beer, but I was okay with it that way.
