Nice "throw back" lager. It is not quite like modern adjunct lager. It has more flavor hinting at a pilsner but not quite. Nice fuller feel with a dry finish. It is supposed to be from a 50s recipe from a small brewery in a small town not far from Wausau. It reminds me of when my Dad let me sip his beer as a kid. Good memories, good beer.

A little info on the beer, pretty cool, I think. If you are looking for a hopbomb, or an Impy, just skip this..it isn't for you!
A: Typical American adjunct. Pee-yellow, decent head.
S: grainy, some malts. Sweet.
T: Sweet, some malts, certainally corn adjunct. Slight biscuity taste. Way better than a BMC.
M: light, clean, crisp.
D: BIG time. I assume a low ABV. Sometimes a guy wants a straight lager, nothing complex to deal with. This works. Love the story, like the beer!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
