Served at Old Fashioned during the post-Great Taste "Kegs & Eggs" brunch. Would have had a couple pints of this, but I had to drive back to Chicago later.
Brilliant clarity, straw gold. Visible carbonation rising though, but not overly so. It held a thin white cap of foam, with a crown of lacing at its edges. As the glass was emptied, arcs of lace were left on the glass.
Clean aroma, crackery malt and light apple or grape essence. Flavor had a nice noble hop bitterness in the back, very clean and snappy. Flavors were similar to the nose, saltine cracker sans salt, apple, and residual hop bitterness in the back. Light, crisp and refreshing. Didn't dry out too much, and was a great pairing with food. A fine summer quaffer, or everyday beer for sure.
