Copenhagen 16/6 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Frb. Pretty cool stylized version of the Earth with skyline of smoking factories on the label.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a very big white and bubbly head. Settles as a 1 cm thick frothy layer of foam. Substantial lacing. Aroma is sharp and salty. Light notes of sweet malts. Grass and straws. Citrus. Actually quite fresh.
Strong carbonation giving prickly, fizzy mouth sensation. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by substantially stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a hint of citrus. Semi-dry finish.
Simple, no nonsense lager with citric freshness. One dimensional - but a fresh and simple one.
