Copenhagen 28/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, RuggÄrdsvej, Odense NV. Label in Midtfyn's usual design with a honeycomb in the background and two corn ears.
Pours opaque, murky, golden, brownish orange with a small white head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet odor of wheat malt with a touch of lemonade and honey. Caramel. Light citric notes. Orange lemonade, white sugar, honey. Light citric touch of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and bit sugary.
Nice try at spicing up a Wheat Ale, but a tad too sweet for my tastebuds.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark amber color ale with a small foamy head with average retention. Aroma of sweet wheat malt notes with weird ester is not that enticing. Taste is also dominated by weird grainy bubblegum notes with weird residual sugar notes. Body is quite full with average carbonation. I am not sure what the brewer was aiming for but this is not very refreshing for a wheat beer with weird grainy notes taking too much room in the overall flavours.

50cl brown bottle with a best before freshness date.
Pretty uniform looking head and lacing, brilliant clarity of golden hues and lots of bubbles rising to the top. Dusty wheat malt meets raspberry, a hint of lime and even a more faint honey aroma. Smooth and slick medium-ish body with ample crispness. Raspberry, edge of lime and dry wheat graininess battle it out with the musty buttery yeast. Quick kiss of hops help to balance but it seems the yeast ends up on top. Semi-sweet finish has a faded raspberry flavor.
An OK fruit beer, with a cleaner yeast and perhaps amping up the lime and honey this beer would be pretty good.
